Carolina began studying Middle Eastern Dance in 2005 with various instructors in San Diego. She was awarded certificates for completion of the 1st and 2nd year diploma programs at the Ethnic Dance Academy (EDA) in San Diego where she studied Egyptian Raqs Sharki and Folkloric Dances including shaabi, saiidi, melaya leff, khaleegi and bhangra. The EDA was established in 2005 by Patrisha Productions and David Entertainment to provide professional level and quality dance education in Egyptian, Turkish, Middle Eastern and Indian dances. Providing an extensive range of educational services; The EDA has quickly become a vital educational institution within the San Diego dance community. Current and former EDA dancers are now dance instructors, professional performers, researchers and continue the EDA's efforts to further the dance.
