The Schola San Marco provides instruction in the medieval martial art of Fiore dei Liberi, one of the finest martial arts masters to have ever lived. We practice the techniques derived from his manuscripts, written between 1405 and 1410. Highly effective, the techniques include hand to hand, fighting with and without a dagger, one handed sword, two-handed sword, poll-axe, spear, and fighting in armor.
