About Us

The objective of this program is to develop computer, communication, and organizational skills needed for a rewarding career in Dental Office Administration. This course will provide a maximum amount of important information in a minimum amount of time. Whether you are already in the field and want to refresh your skills, moving from the back, or new to the profession, our limited class size will insure individual attention and focus on your needs using 3 of the most popular dental softwares. 

Classes offered:

Computer Training-Work with three of the most popular dental softwares used in dental practices today, Dentrix G-4, EagleSoft, and SoftDent.  Gain practical knowledge of how these systems work, learning everything from new patient set-up,  to running statements and reports.

Insurance Billing and Coding-Learn dental insurance billing techniques and how to follow up and collect on unpaid claims.  Learn how to bill private insurance carriers, complete the universal claim form, read an explanation of benefits, bill secondary insurance, post payments and make proper adjustments.  You will also gain an understanding of how to utilize the current CDT (Current Dental Terminology) code manual.

Treatment Planning and Terminology-Learn how to record and properly phase treatment plans, how to do case presentations using terminology that patients understand, and make financial arrangements using insurance benefits and separate lines of credit.  Understand how to read and react to the four different personality types.  Train in how to collect payment at the time of service.

Scheduling, Etiquette, and First Impressions-Learn how important scheduling and first impressions are to the success of the practice.  Find out how to schedule recalls and create the perfect day for the team.  Understand scheduling to goal and how to implement it with the team.  Also learn how to market the practice for your doctor.

Clinical Computer Training-Learn the Clinical applications used by Dentists, Assistants and Hygienists on Dentrix G-4, EagleSoft or SoftDent.  You will learn Patient Charting, Perio Charting, Treatment Planning (different from front office), and Scheduling.  The Clinical Classes meet the Dental Board of California’s requirements for 5 units of Continuing Education.  Registered Provider #4899.
